Christmas Past...

I thought it would be fun to share this picture with you. This is a picture of me when I was about three or four. Yes, I have always been quite the ham! My mom sent it to me a little while back, and I was surprised to remember every single one of the presents in the picture.

Christmas Present...

This was my first Christmas away from home, and I didn't think that I was going to be a very happy camper. Luckily Rob's mom, dad, and younger sister all came in town to his older sister's house, and I ended up getting to be with some family after all. For the first time in about a year I finally felt like I was home. I was especially excited to be able to give Rob's mom her present in person.

Do you think she liked it? She couldn't even speak for a minute. She just kept saying, "Oh, Oh, Oh!" Then she started crying and Rob's dad started crying. Heck, I almost started crying! This was the best reaction towards a gift that I have ever had in my life. She absolutely loved it, and I am so glad that I gave it to her. Rob's sister's were like, "Oh great Stacie now how the heck are we gonna top that! Kiss up!! The only way were are going to top that is if Amanda got pregnant!" Hahahaha! It was too good. After all the gift opening we had a yummy yummy Christmas dinner prepared with love by Rob's older sister Karyl.

I think Rob may have eaten a bit too much. We had a hard time getting his new gut behind the wheel to drive home. I almost had to drive! (As a little side note, that rug on the floor is a Christmas present I made Karyl about three years ago. I am pretty surprised how well it has held up. You gotta love that Caron acrylic. It's tough as nails!)

We spent the next evening at Rob's grandparent's house where I received my own big surprise. His whole family chipped in and bought me the french perfume I had been coveting for quite some time.  It is called L'Instant De Guerlain, and it has to be the most extraordinary smelling perfume I have ever smelled in my life! I had no clue that they were going to do that. It's too bad we didn't get a picture of my face, because I'm sure I made about the same expression as Rob's mom! Earlier in the day I had found out that my mom and sister were unable to come and visit me due to the weather, and this surprise cheered me up immensly. His family is so incredible. I couldn't ask for better.

Christmas Future...

There is now way to know what the future may hold. All I know Is that I look forward to spending all my Christmas futures with Rob and his family, and I am determined never to miss another one with mine. Next year all my Christmas gifts will be hand delivered.
