Please keep my brother Nick in your thoughts and prayers. He has been deployed to help with relief in Louisiana. My sister-in-law was able to speak to him last night, and he told her that "New Orleans is worse than Iraq". That statement was like a punch in the gut. She told me that alot of people he has been rescuing are disabled people in wheel chairs and very sick children and that it is making him so sad. I feel so bad for these poor people, and I wish that I could do more. I am so proud that I have a brother who is there helping them.
One of these days this blog will get back to knitting, but not just yet. I can't bring myself to blog about knitting at a time like this. Heck I can barely even knit. I think I have ripped out the same two rows twenty times already. I had to count my darn cast on six times because I kept losing count after about 30. Again please keep Nick in your thoughts and prayers as he helps to rescue the poor victims of this horrible catastrophe and don't forget to donate if you can. We have to stick together America :)
