The bracelet above is my first attempt at Japanese style Mail (Kusari). The Japanese 6-in-1 (Hana Gusari) was used by the Samurai to link together plates of armor. Isn't it amazing how something used for war can so easily transform into a beautiful piece of jewelry. I can't tell you how long I have been wanting to learn this art, and I am very pleased with the way it turned out. A girl can never have too many hobbies right?
